MANUSCRIPT GUIDELINES

Journal of Management Research & Review invites academicians and management professionals to write research articles, research papers on all aspects of management thought, research and practices and case studies.

The following are the guidelines for the authors:-

  1. The manuscripts to the journal must be original, neither published nor under consideration for publication anywhere else.
  2. The manuscripts must be based on the theme, sub-theme decided for the specific issue of the journal.
  3. The cover-page should contain the title of the paper, author’s name, designation, official address, contact phones/ fax number, and email address. The next page should contain an abstract of not more than 200 words, along with 5 key words. The author’s information should be limited to the cover page. In order to facilitate anonymous review of the papers, please restrict the author-related information only to the cover page.
  4. References should be given at the end of the manuscript and should contain only those cited in the text of the manuscript. These should be given in an alphabetical order of first author’s surname.
  5. References should be given on the following pattern:
    • a. For books written by an author / s:
          Malhotra, (2007), Marketing Research, 5th ed. (New Dlehi: Prentice Hall of India), p.41
    • b. For journal articles:
          Lather, Anu Singh, and Shilpa Jain (2007), “Need Behavioural Orienation of Dynamos and Dornes in organizations”,
          Vikalpa, Vol. 32, No.1 (January-March), pp 45-55
    • c. For reference to websites: the date of accession of the website should be mentioned within a bracket along
          with the webpage address.
  6. Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively, in international numerals, and should appear soon after the text where they are first cited Please follow British/ American/ Europian spellings throughout.
  7. The manuscript should normally be between 2000-3000 words.
  8. The manuscript should be submitted directly to the Editor as soft copies. Authors may send emails attaching the manuscripts as a MS Word attachment. The manuscript should be typed in Times New Roman font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and with margins of one inch on all sides.
  9. The contributions to the journal are subjected to two blind peer reviews. The final decision on the acceptance or otherwise of the paper rests with the Editor/ Editorial Board, and it depends entirely on the standard and relevance of the paper. At the end of the blind review process, the editor will inform the author about the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
  10. Authors should ensure that the manuscripts submitted to Journal of Management Research & Review are not simultaneously submitted to any other journal or publisher. Similarly, it should not be submitted anywhere else during the pendency of the review process which will take about 3-4 months. Once a manuscript is accepted by or published in Journal of Management Research & Review, it becomes the property of GBSRC Journal of Management, whose permission is required for any operations covered by the Copyright Act.
  11. A short bio sketch must accompany each submission along with the author’s institutional affiliation. This must not exceed 50 words.
